The Field Is White and Ready to Harvest! Not just ready to harvest when you look cute and feel like it! But All the Time!

 haha and HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD!

Well! It has been a FABULOUS week!!!!! I have seen the Lord's hand in EVERYTHING! He is so aware of EACH and every one of us! I know it!

OKAY! So this week was a new transfer! YAHHOOO i'm not the newest missionary anymore! But on tuesday morning we got a call from the assistants to the mission president and they said "Sister Green Sister Wise! Would you be willing to take out some new missionaries who will be flying in today? And take them tracting?" and so we did! THAT WAS SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR ME! I know that when i first flew in and they took us tracting....i was scared i was tired and i was homesick! So i thought that i can really influence these new missionaries and help them know that missionary work is fun! So sister green and i split up with each of them and knocked on some doors and it was SO great just to tell them what i thought they did well! It was great to learn from them and to teach the restored gospel with them!!!!!

and then because transfers happened...they took sister green and i out of the West Allis ward and put us just in the Muskego Lakes ward instead of doing both and we were SO BUMBED! ALL of our investigators were in that ward! AND BARBARA! AAHHHH we were so sad! But the new west allis sisters are GREAT!!!!!!!!! AND ONE OF THEM IS FROM IDAHO! "Rigby to be exact) and yeah! so we were sad BUT this is the Lords work and REFERRAL AFTER REFERRAL AFTER REFERRAL was coming our way! It was such a blessing to broaden our teaching pool!

BUT! A HUGE miracle i saw this week! Is that sister green and i were driving back from a nursing home to vistit a less active woman and we stopped at a gas-station....and sister green was in the restroom and i was waiting and i started talking to this guy...he told me he knew who joseph smith was and i said "Tell ya what Tim! We would love to set up a time where we could talk about what we believe! And he said "AWESOME name a day and place and i will be there!" And so we are meeting with him on saturday at the church! WAHHOOOO!!!!!!! SO random! BUT so so so God-given!!!!!

ALSO! Sister Green and I go running every morning....and one morning i just thought "You know what! I'm going to take a pass a long card with me and just put it in the pocket of my shorts..." and when we were running home i saw the bus driver that we wave to every morning and we were walking past him and i just felt something just say "GO! Talk to him...NOW!" and i was thinking "NO i look gross I am out of breath and his doors are closed"...but i stopped, turned around and knocked on his door! haha and i said "HEY! *panting* we love waving to you everyday! We just really would like to give you this card! Its about the Book of Mormon! Have you ever heard of it???" and we talked and taught him a little BIT! I almost missed that opportunity! because i thought my time running in the mornings was just for me....but NEWS FLASH haha by life belongs to the Lord! The field is WHITE All ready to harvest! not just ready to harvest when you look cute and feel like it! But all the time!!! It was aweome!

OKAY! SO! sister green and i had dinner with DoKie and Sanoli! Downstairs neighbors!!! And we had the BEST indian food i have EVER HAD! Oh my holy taledo! we were so grateful for their kindness! we talked about family and the role God plays in that! I loved it! They are good friends of ours!!!!!!!

ANYWAY! I have been talking a long time!!!!!I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!! I pray for you all!!!!!!! And Dawn Benjamin if you are reading this! How funny that Chay rode with my mission presidents daughter to idaho!!!!! RANDOM! haha i'm basically the coolest kid in the mission because of it! ha! JOKING!

I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world! I LOVE when I can testify of His reality and divinity, not as a 19 year old girl but as a servant of the Lord! I know that IF we choose the right and obey the commandments of God, we will be happy! I know that we are saved only by the grace of God! I know that we learn about the fullness of the gospel by reading the Book of Mormon! I know it is true!

Barbara was Baptized!

SO BARBARA FINALLY WAS BAPTIZED on June 13th!!!! we are so excited for her!!!

well this was a GREAT GREAT GREAT week!!!!!!!! Full of miracles and tender mercies from our Heavenly Father!!!!!!!!

So!!!! During the week I turned to sister green and said "You know I feel really bad inviting others to get to know their neighbors when we don't even know ours!' hahaha SO we took cookies to the woman across from us and the people kitty corner from us and this indian family down stairs and they totally invited us to their home for indian food this Friday!!!!!!! SO WE ARE EXCITED FOR THAT! #softcookies #softenhearts hahaha it was A MIRACLE! we are excited!!!!!!!

ALSO their is so much power in missionary work through ward members!!!!!! It is SO KEY and SO ESSENTIAL to the work! So we have a sports night every week (us and the elders) and we all play games with the youth and they invite friends and this week it was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!!!!!!! The bishops daughter brought her friend and the friends mom came to pick her up and so we got to talk to her for a while and then myra (recent convert ) brought her friend and she and I are basically best friends now...you know/....no big deal! hahaha I love chillin with 11 year olds! haha but it was just AWESOME to see the ward bringing friends to church activites! haha

 I mowed the lawn! NOT just any lawn....a lawn that had grass that was as tall as me....okay not quite it went to my HIPS BUT STILL!!!!!!! HAHAHA and then this woman who we were mowing the lawn for, has cat figurines everwhere! BUT because her grass was so long I couldn't SEE THEM! hahahaha so I definitely ran over one and it shattered into a thousand pieces...hahahha it was hilarious....but not.....oops. hahaha

I WENT TO OSHKOSH WISCONSIN FOR AN AWESOME MEETING WITH ALL THE NEW MISSIONARIES AND THEIR TRAINERS! It was so so so so so so so so so so so so good to see all of those people I was in the MTC with and to see my good friends like sister hess and SISTER QUIST and sister blas and elder reed and elder lott! They are so awesome! anyway! The cutlers were there and sister cutler drove back to muskego lakes with us so we drove a few hours in the car together and it was super fun! We found out that her daughter Hannah, and my sister Madison went to the lake together this weekend....?? Random! hahahaha

BUT SATURDAY was barbaras baptism! SHE IS SO AWESOME! THE SPIRIT WAS SO SO SO STRONG! I love her and it was glad to see her make those covenants with God and to see the ward come out and support her! Baptism through the proper authority is essential to our salvation, and because Barbara knows this, she took that step to follow her Savior! SO COOL!

OH! OKAY! SO Saturday and sunday was the Milwaukee Polish Festivval!!!!!!!!!!! SO SO FUN!!!!!!!! THe church had a family history department set up so we just taught people how to use it and taught people about eternal families and this awesome polish dancer named Alexandria taught me and another sister how to polish dance and then we taught her the restoration and gave her a book of Mormon! SHE IS SO SWEET!!!!!!!!! A very Christ like person!!!!!!!!! and also this woman came up to me and said "Can I have this????" and she was holding a polish Book of Mormon and I said "BY ALL MEANS!!!!!!!" and then she said "Can I have the English too??? I want to give it to my family! (This woman was hardcore from Polland!) " haha and I said YEAH! I explained what it was and she went on her merry way! hahhahaha it was a day full of miracles!

 I know that this is the only true church on the earth! I know that as we learn of the gospel of Jesus Christ by reading the Book of Mormon we will receive eternal life! It is a sure thing! I know that Jesus Christ is the merciful Savior of the World! I know that He is real! He's not just a nice thought or a nice man that lived 2 thousand years ago...He is the Son of God, He is the Savior and Redeemer of our souls, and He is the great Jehovah that all the prophets have prophesied of since the BEGINNING! I love Him! I love you all!!!!!!!!! I am able to even be here because He lives!!!! LOVE YOU!

 so THIS!!!!!! Is the polish festival I went to!!!!! we worked at the family history center because Wisconsinites LOVE researching their german polish and Swedish backgrounds!!!!!! MAN! It was awesome! We taught like 40 lessons in an hour! hahaha and this is Alexandria! A SUPER AWESOME polish dancer! And of course I had to talk to her! Because dance is my thing! But she taught us a polish dance and then me and sister escobar (from NAMPA and also danced at my STUDIO) taught the restoration because she was super curious what we believed! GAVE A BOOK OF MORMON TO HER!

 so this is ELDER AND SISTER CARTER! they are our office senior missionaries and sister green pop in there once in a while to help with some office stuff they need! I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!! Theyre one of those couples that will be at my wedding my 26th birthday...you name it! they will be there! hahaha theyre funny!

 hahahaha and this is connie! An autistic woman who we go see! SHE IS HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!! it was my last time visiting connie because sister green and I are being taken out from the west allis ward and put into just the muskego lakes ward

 okay and this is sister coats who Is less active woman that we go see every week in a nursing  home! She can't see very well so we go read the ensign with her! SHE IS AWESOME AND SASSY! 

 SOME SUPER FUN YOUTH from the muskego lakes ward! The one w ith the lighter hair is myra and she was just baptized in October and she brought her friend to our sports activity! we had a fun time getting to know her!

HELLO friends and family!!!!!!!!!! It has been a nice wet week here in America's Dairy Land!!! We all know that the REAL Dairy Queen isn't on the caldwell/nampa blvd......its in Wisconsin...haha

Anyway!! Wow its June! happy June everybody!

It has really been a GREAT week!!!!

SO! we have an investigator named Barbara and we went to see her on monday...and basically...we sat down and she told us that she was offended by someone at church and she didn't want to be baptized on June 13th anymore....we talked to her about it and told her that the church is perfect...but the people are not..ANYWAY she didn't want to listen and so we were BUMMMED! aw man i have never been so blue!!!! BUT!!! ALAS! we went back to her house wednesday!!!! and we decided to bring TINA! A recent convert, and TINA WAS ON FIRE!!!!! and during the lesson with barbara...she asked "Okay so when is my interview thingy?" and we explained "Well we usually like to do that a week before your baptism.." and she said "but the 13th is in a week...."......and my face lit up and i said "YAAHHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" ahahha and the happiness in that room was overwhelming!!!!!!!!!!!! GOSH! i was SO HAPPY FOR HER!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHES LIKE MY GRANDMA out here! She is so COOL and SO READY to come unto Christ by being baptized! GOODNESS!!! so we met her at the church on saturday....she had her interview and then we had her try on some jumpsuits! YAY! and we got the program all set for the baptism!!!!!!

but we also have been teaching a woman named Jessica! She was a referral from our ward mission leader and SHE IS SO PREPARED it is scary! haha i love her so so so so much! we had a church tour with her and taught the restoration in the chapel! Before we talked about the first vision we said "okay...as we listen to the account of Joseph Smith..pay attention to the feelings that you have..." and AFTER THE SPIRIT WAS SO STRONG! she is so Christ-like and kind to us...when so many people are not....haha she is AWESOME! and so we met with her and went to lunch with her and had cheese curds and we gave her a book of mormon and invited her to church!!! YES!

So a HUGE miracle we saw this week was on satuday barbara called and said "hey my son has my car....so i can't make it to church tomorrow" and we said AAHHHHHH NNNOOOOOOO! haha we let her know that she couldn't be baptized sadly...if she didn't come to church the week before! and so we called EVERYBODY in the ward seeing if they could take her....and NO ONE COULD!!!!!!!!!!! and we aren't allowed to drive her because of insurance stuff....so sister green and i decided to pray and RIGHT AFTER I said "LETS CALL FRED!" (fred is a returning less active man) and we called and he said he would LOVE to take barbara! AAAHHHHHHH It was such a huge miracle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow!!!!!

anyway...i write too much...sorry if my emails are super complicated! haha...so yesterday was fast sunday and i just had the STRONG desire to get up in both sacrament meetings in the wards im serving and share my testimony with the wards and i felt so good fulfilling my purpose as a missionary for Jesus Christ! I know that there is a God and that He cares about each of us individually! We may not recognize or aknowledge Him as a Heavenly Father, but He will always see us as His children! I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God! and that He lives today and stands as the Head of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints! I know that Joseph Smith saw what he said he saw and that he is no liar! I know that the Book of Mormon contains the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that we will all be closer to God as we read it and abide by its precepts! I know tha tPresident Thomas S Monson is Gods mouth piece! I KNOW IT! I love you all!!!!!!!!!

 so we have a gym at our apartment complex...but it doesn't open till 7...so on pdays...i work out while sister green writes letters and i was DONE! hahaha hardest work out of my life!!!!!! 

 and then this is tearny! We are teaching her brother tate! and she is TOTALLY COUSINS WITH NATALIE FROM STUDIO C!!!!!!!! ....ive got celeb connections!

I love that Ashton is just thriving on missionary work, she also used a Princess Diaries analogy to teach the Plan of Salvation, great job Ash!

HELLO FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!!!

Wow! This week went so fast! oh my heavens!!! it was a good week! Lots of work to do in Milwaukee!!!! Lots of people need this message!!!!!! It is so interesting to go door to door and ask people what they know about where they came from! and without fail its this: Me* "Have you ever wondered things like where you came from before this life?" them* "well of course" *me "Sweet I do as well I do as well...do you think there are answers to those questions" them* "of course not!" my question is.....WHY NOT!?!?!?! hahaha its CRAZY so many people are just content with not knowing!!!!!!!! they are content with not knowing because there isn't a desire to change! MAN! Hahaha its a little frustrating! But when people can get past that and listen to us then we are golden!!!!!

 haha it was kinda funny....sister green and I were teaching a woman yesterday and we were teaching the plan of salvation! and she just was not catching on, as to how knowing where she came from effects the rest of her life...she didn't see the point....and then just out of the blue I said "Kathy, have you ever seen the Princess Diaries???" and she said "Yeah...why??" and I said "Well if you remember, Mia thought she was pretty worthless and thought nothing would come of her.." "BUT when she is told who her father is...and what kind of a royal family she comes from..she realizes her POTENTIAL...and not only does she look different but she acts differently because she has something to live up to because of what she can become...and she has something to live up to because of what she came from!" and then Kathy understood...it was COOL! Yeah...the Princess diaries analogy was cheezy...haha but it worked for Kathy and simplified it!!!! so that was kind of a cool experience! hahaha

But we had Zone conference on Wednesday! AND HOLY TALEDO IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! President Cutler is INSPIRED!!!!!!!!!!! It will be sad when he is released in a year! BUT HE IS INCREDIBLE! He shared with us how important the family is!!! If you think about it, the EARTH was created to house the souls of men and women....for what? So they can hang out? NAH! so they can live and be fruitful and have families and live and prosper! Satan attacks the family so much these days! With all sorts of addictions and morality problems! He is saying that baptism is not enough! It is necessary! But we need eternal families to be on the earth! Because when every other organized unit falls eventually, the family will not because it is the strongest unit on this earth! SO TRUE! anyway...haha

My purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel...through faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end! SO! Since that is my purpose! (Which I was told in the MTC that the definition of purpose is "REASON OF EXISTENCE") I invite you all to come unto Christ! Be perfected in Him! He has overcome death of spirit and body for us! It sounds intense....but it's not an intense message....but it is a happy message!!!! I know that these things are true! I know that the church that the Lord established once on the earth is now back on the earth in its exactness! I love this gospel! It is a privilege to hold the great Jehovah's name on my chest ALL DAY! I love it! I love you all!!!!!!

okay so this is PATRICK!!!!!!!!!!! He is so dang sweet!!!!!!!! He is the sweetest man that has WALKED THE EARTH! Patrick has severe Autism and is moving to a group home because he has a hard time managing some behaviors! He is sweet and loves to call sister green and I and talk on the phone and loves to pray with us! We went to his house yesterday after church to say goodbye! IM GOING TO MISS PATRICK!!!!!!!!! haha but im glad I could meet him! You know me! I have a soft spot for those who have disabilities like Patrick! The Lord REALLY loves them! as He does all of us! But they are definitely SPECIAL SPIRITS!!!!!
